I help parents, educators, and leaders focus on what actually works, grounded in research and real life.

Dr. Ken Feldman, Ed.D.
Leadership author and higher education and healthcare executive focused on helping leaders create clarity, stability, and lasting performance through calm, disciplined leadership.
Leadership is not about urgency or position.
It is the discipline of creating clarity and stability when pressure rises.
The most effective leaders do not control pressure — they create stability within it.
I’m Dr. Ken Feldman, Director of Education at the Swedish Institute. College of Health Sciences, an educator, author, and lifelong learner with decades of experience in healthcare and education leadership.
Throughout my career, I’ve focused on one core question: What actually improves learning and leadership in the real world—not just in theory?
I’ve served in senior leadership roles, including:
These roles gave me a front-row seat to the complexity of academic administration, healthcare education, and organizational leadership—and showed me how often well-meaning systems overcomplicate what should be clear and human.
I earned my Master’s in Public Health from Long Island University and my Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from Northcentral University. My academic training, combined with hands-on leadership experience, shaped an approach that is both research-backed and relentlessly practical.
As a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), with certifications in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, I bring a metrics-driven, strategic lens to education and leadership—without losing sight of the people at the center of the work.
I work in higher education leadership and educational development, with experience across academic administration, program design, and organizational leadership.
My work focuses on conditions—what quietly supports learning and leadership over time, and what undermines them.
Learning Reframed features two podcast series:
Everything I share is designed to be used, not just consumed.
Because Education Opens Doors, When We Get It Right
I grew up in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, where I learned early that education can change the trajectory of a life. That belief has guided everything I’ve done since.
Over the years, I’ve watched too many capable people struggle—not because they lacked effort or intelligence, but because they were given advice that didn’t fit their reality. I’ve seen parents doubt themselves, educators burn out, and leaders feel stuck under the weight of complexity.
I do this work because I believe:
Learning Reframed is my commitment to offering clarity instead of confusion, practicality instead of theory, and tools that respect the real lives people are living.
Beyond the Work
When I’m not recording podcast episodes, writing, or working with students and faculty, you’ll find me on Long Island with my wife Debra, our sons Keith and Stephen, daughter-in-law Jillian, grandson Elijah, and our two Black Russian Terriers, Magen and Shomer.
